Description
A collection of Regency country dances found in a single bound book in the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, simply entitled Dances.
It was part of a bequest left by Walter Harding, a ragtime pianist and organist from Chicago, totaling 22 tonnes of books, sheet music and ephemera – the largest donation in the Bodleian’s history.
This collection is accompanied by recordings of all the dances by the Warleggan Village Band.
